Dr. Maurice Ghysels, CEO, is the founder of Ghysels Group, LLC. and is a professional services consultant, professor, and educational leader. He holds a Doctorate in Leadership and Organization from the University of San Francisco and a BA in Economics from San Jose State University. Dr. Ghysels’ advancements are in teaching, corporate leadership, and startups. He also has served as a K-12 school superintendent in Mountain View and Menlo Park, California. Dr. Ghysels is known for his skills and expertise in leadership, process improvement, finance, communication, technology, construction, and the executive producer of film and music. Additionally, Dr. Ghysels serves on the Board of the East Side Education Foundation supporting SJSU. Finally, he performs as a singer and guitar player.

Maria Hilton has over 20 years experience developing and managing relationships with hundreds of founders, CEOs, officers and executive leaders in education, healthcare and private companies. Her superpower is engaging leaders in curated membership communities to support leadership development and organizational improvement. A versatile professional excelling in communication, facilitation, and strategic thinking, Maria served for eight years as an elected Governing Board Member for the Menlo Park City School District. She excels at building robust relationships with diverse partners, working collaboratively in dynamic team environments, and identifying pathways to build positive, productive cultures with clearly defined values and unifying guiding principles. As Strategic Consulting Director at the Ghysels Group, Maria applies her deep knowledge of PreK-12 governance to guide Superintendents and School Boards to drive positive change.
